Join us for Software Heritage Symposium 2026

Every year we invite our sponsors, community, and partners to come and meet us for the annual Software Heritage Symposium, on January 28, 2026, at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.  

The event provides a unique platform for academia, industry, and policymakers to discuss critical issues at the intersection of software, artificial intelligence, and society.

Wednesday 28 January - 9am - 12pm - General Assembly & Sponsor meeting - room XI

Software Heritage general assembly will take place from 9:00 to 10:45, followed by the private private sponsor meeting (for Diamond, Platinium and Gold sponsors) until noon.  

Wednesday 28 January - 12pm - 2:30 pm - Lunch at UNESCO restaurant

All morning participants are invited for lunch at the UNESCO restaurant.

The symposium session is open to the full Software Heritage community, featuring prestigious speakers and panelists covering the many facets of source code and its preservation for all stakeholders, from industry to public administration, from cultural heritage to open science.
